David Cunningham MD FRCP FMedSci is a Consultant Medical Oncologist and Head of the Gastrointestinal and Lymphoma Unit at the Royal Marsden Hospital in London and Surrey in addition to Director of the  Royal Marsden/Institute of Cancer Research NIHR Biomedical Research Centre and Director of Clinical Research.

He has conducted multiple early phase and phase III randomised trials in the field of gastrointestinal oncology and lymphoma and is currently pursuing the development of targeted agents and immunotherapy for the treatment of these diseases.
