Dr. Yauheni Baranau graduated from the Grodno State Medical Institute (Belarus) in 1996. He was trained in Medical Oncology in 2000-2002 and completed clinical internship postgraduate study in 2002 at the N.N. Alexandrov Research Institute of Oncology and Medical Radiology (Minsk, Belarus). Dr. Baranau completed his post-graduate study in clinical oncology at the N.N. Alexandrov National Cancer Centre of Belarus and gained his PhD degree in 2007. The theme of his research work was “Chemo immunotherapy with high dose Roncoleukin in the treatment of disseminated skin melanoma”.
Currently, Dr. Baranau is the Associate Research Leader of the chemotherapy department N.N. Alexandrov National Cancer Centre of Belarus. His main fields of interest are malignant melanoma, breast cancer and malignant lymphomas. Dr. Baranau participated in international multicenter clinical trials as a study coordinator and sub investigator.
Dr. Baranau is a member of European Society for Medical Oncology (ESMO) since 2005, member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) since 2008 and Belorussian Oncological Society. He has contributed to over 30 publications.
