ESMO Clinical Practice Guidelines: CNS malignancies

The ESMO Clinical Practice Guidelines (CPG) are intended to provide the user with a set of recommendations for the best standards of cancer care, based on the findings of evidence-based medicine.

The ESMO Clinical Practice Guidelines on Central Nervous System Malignancies currently focus on high-grade malignant glioma (newly diagnosed patients, glioblastoma (WHO grade IV) and anaplastic astrocytoma, oligoastrocytoma and oligodendroglioma (WHO grade III))and include information on:

  • incidence
  • diagnosis
  • staging and risk assessment
  • treatment
  • response evaluation and follow-up
