Clinical Practice Guidelines by Tumour Type

The ESMO Clinical Practice Guidelines (CPG) are intended to provide oncology professionals with a set of recommendations for the best standards of cancer care, based on the findings of evidence-based medicine.

Each Clinical Practice Guideline includes information on the incidence of the malignancy, diagnostic criteria, staging of disease and risk assessment, treatment plans and follow-up designed to help oncologists deliver an appropriate quality of care to their patients.

The first of our new and updated guidelines for 2014 are now online!

The new Bone Health in Cancer Patients guideline covers areas that make bone health in cancer patients of increasing clinical importance, while the High-Grade Glioma and Anal Cancer guidelines have been updated.
