2013 ESMO General Assembly in Amsterdam
Invitation |
---|
All ESMO members are invited to attend the annual General Assembly of the Society on Friday 27 September from 17:00-18:00 in room E102 |
Pick up your ESMO Member Ribbon
Be recognised as an ESMO Member to be granted access to the ESMO Membership Lounge. All members and new members signing up in Amsterdam will be given an ESMO Member Ribbon identifying them as members of the society. You can pick up your ribbon either at the Founding Member’s desk (in the registration area), ESMO Booth, or ESMO Membership Lounge.
All new members signing up at the congress will receive a membership card, which also grants lounge access. Existing members can receive one by visiting us at the ESMO Booth, or at the Membership services counter in the ESMO Members’ Lounge.
Become an ESMO Ambassador
You probably have colleagues who will be attending the congress, but are not yet ESMO members? Congress is the ideal occasion to tell them about the member benefits and why they should join ESMO, too. Bring them to the ESMO booth to sign up and both you and the new ESMO member(s) will be rewarded with special gifts!
Members can pick up an Ambassador Programme Card in the lounge or on the booth to pass on to colleagues in Amsterdam to sign up at the ESMO booth. Once your colleague has become a member, you can then stop by the booth or lounge to pick up your gift for introducing a new member!
Also pick up the Ambassador Programme card in the lounge or on the booth, to take home to colleagues who are not at the congress – more information here.
Sit the ESMO Examination
Saturday 28 September, 17.30-20:00 in the Emerald room/press conference room. Registration from 15:30.
The ESMO examination is the first step to becoming an ESMO-certified member and also provides professional credentials and recognition at a national level in many European countries.
Forgotten to register? It is still possible to sign up on site for the few remaining seats (ESMO members only) at the Amsterdam session. Watch this space for details closer to the congress or contact us (select ‘ESMO Exam’). Spaces will be offered on a first come first served basis!
