Travel to and in Brussels

By plane

Brussels Airport (BRU) is the city's main airport. Trains run frequently from the airport to Brussels' three main stations and take 15-25 minutes. A taxi to the centre costs around €35.

Brussels South Charleroi Airport (CRL) is a one-hour drive from Brussels Midi/Zuid Station. Shuttle buses run every 30mins to/from Brussels Midi/Zuid station.

By train

Brussels has three main train stations: Midi-Zuid, Central-Centraal, and Nord-Noord, to the north of the city centre. High-speed trains stop only at Midi/Zuid, except the ICE which also stops at Nord/Noord. High speed trains connect Brussels with Amsterdam/Amsterdam Schiphol Airport, Cologne, Frankfurt, Luxembourg, London St. Pancras and Paris/Paris Charles de Gualle Airport.

By metro

Metro entrances are marked by large "M" signs in blue and white, with the station name underneath. All announcements are made in Dutch, French and English.
