ESMO 2014: Individual Registration
Pre-registration closed on 20 August. If you have not yet registered, you will be able to register directly at the Congress in Madrid from Friday 26 September 2014. Full registration fees apply
Confirmation of registration / Scan & GO
Always aiming to improve our customer service, there has been a change to the distribution process of the registration material. At the beginning of September you will receive an email confirming your registration containing a barcode (only if payment has been settled). This mail will have to be printed out and handed over at the Scan & GO desk when you arrive at the Congress venue. Registration material may be collected from Friday, 26 September 2014.
In case this mail does not arrive in your inbox, please check your spam folder. If you did not receive the confirmation then contact us (select 'Event') immediately.
For those who haven’t registered yet, to avoid queues and to waste your time, from Thursday to Saturday we will have self-registration stations open for you (Credit card payment only). These stations will give the possibility to register without having to wait at the onsite registration desks. Registration material may be collected from Friday, 26 September 2014.

The ESMO 2014 Congress registration fee comprises the following benefits: access to the congress, opening session and refreshments, industry satellite symposia and concomitant trade exhibition. The fee also includes a public transportation ticket, and one copy each of the abstracts and posters USB keys and programme book. For ESMO members and non-ESMO members who elect to pay the additional webcast fee, access rights to the webcasts are also included.

- You will receive a payment confirmation, once the payment has been processed. Payment is normally processed immediately, but please allow up to five working days
- Registration online is not possible
- If you wish to process the payment only online, please state this clearly when completing the registration form
Invitation letters for visa application
Individuals can download their electronic invitation letter via the online registration system. To download / receive the invitation letter, participants must first register to the Congress and pay in full. For special invitation letters please contact the ESMO 2014 registration department.
The invitation letter does not commit ESMO to any financial obligations whatsoever. All expenses incurred in relation to the Congress are the sole responsibility of the delegate. For more information please see the Registration Terms & Conditions.
The Congress webcasts will capture and include all the sessions of the official programme, where speaker permission is granted, and will be made available on the ESMO website within 48 hours. The webcasts will be available for ESMO members (through the myESMO area) and delegates who paid the webcast fee. Delegates can purchase the webcast package on-site at the onsite registration desks, for 36 Euros (VAT included).
Important: keep your badge as you will be requested to enter your badge ID code and last name to log in.
Certificate of Attendance
Certificates of Attendance will be available to print from Monday morning 29 September. You will have one month to access the ESMO web in the congress section and print it from home. Before obtaining your Certificate of Attendance, you will be requested to enter your badge ID code and last name to log in as well as complete the evaluation questionnaire. It is therefore important to retain the delegate badge for this purpose.
The Certificate of Attendance will indicate the maximum number of credit points (1 credit point per 1 hour of programme attended up to a maximum of 6 credits per day) related to the Congress. However, it is the participant’s responsibility to complete the Certificate of Attendance with the number of hours of scientific programme (= number of credit points) that he/she has actually attended.
The badge is the only official evidence of registration. Participants not wearing their badge do not have access to the Congress. Loss of badge is loss of registration and a new badge will be issued only upon payment of the pro-rata fee.
