Studying medicine in Greece will take you 6 years. A formal entrance exam restricting the entrance into the university is mandatory. The medical Universities in Greece are the following:

What do I need to do to become a oncologist in Greece?
In Greece “Medical Oncology” is an officially recognised speciality. The training consists of 3 years of internal medicine, including training for six month within a haematologic department and 3 years of medical oncology. After 6 years of training you can undergo the examination of the responsible medical association.
Are there any Oncology Societies in Greece?
The official Greek society for medical oncology is HeSMO - Hellenic Society of Medical Oncology, which also has an active group of Young Oncologists. Furthermore, there are several other societies for medical haematologists and oncologists from different disciplines dealing with cancer patients.
