GMC Full registration with a licence to practise

At least two years post graduate training in medical oncology in a recognised Cancer Centre/Unit, and preferably some soft tissue sarcoma experience (but not essential)
Skills/Abilities/Knowledge:

General Description
The Royal Marsden NHS Trust, Fulham Road, London is a postgraduate teaching hospital concerned with diagnosis, treatment and study of patients with soft tissue sarcoma. It has a close association with the Institute of Cancer Research which is leading in basic research into the nature and treatment of sarcoma. Together the two campuses constitute the largest concentration of clinical cancer research in Europe. The medical work of the hospital is organised into multidisciplinary disease oriented units.
Expertise
The Royal Marsden Hospital is a major UK tertiary referral centre for soft tissue sarcoma. Professor Robin Jones is Head of the Sarcoma Unit and Professor Winette van der Graaf and Dr Charlotte Benson are Consultant Medical Oncologists on the Unit. Dr Aisha Miah and DR Shane Zaidi are Consultant Clinical Oncologists. In addition there are four Consultant Sarcoma Surgeons.
The wider team comprises Medical Oncology Specialist Registrars, Clinical Research Fellows, Research Nurses and Clinical Trial co-ordinators and Data Managers. The Sarcoma Unit has a busy clinical practice and its main research interests are novel therapies, immunotherapy, treatment of GIST, preoperative therapy with radiation and molecular markers.
Facilities
Large outpatient clinics and inpatient beds, backed up by full range of diagnostic and imaging facilities. Strong Research links with scientists in the Institute of Cancer Research.
